Scope :

FPCompare is a comprehensive travel insurance comparison and management system designed to assist users in comparing travel insurance policies from multiple vendors and selecting the one that best fits their needs. The platform is composed of two key modules: the Price Comparison Module and the Insurance Order Management Module.

  • Price Comparison Module: This module enables users to search for and compare travel insurance policies based on various criteria such as price, coverage, and benefits. It provides detailed policy information from different vendors, ensuring users can make well-informed decisions. The module includes advanced filtering and sorting options to streamline the comparison process.
  • Insurance Order Management Module: This module gives users a centralized dashboard to manage their travel insurance orders, track their order history, and access payment and policy details. Additionally, the module provides tools for claim management and customer support, ensuring users have a seamless and efficient experience when handling any issues related to their travel insurance.

The Challenge of Project

  • Vendor Policy Integration: Integrating policy data from multiple vendors required handling various data formats and ensuring consistency across the platform. By leveraging TypeScript and Angular, we built a dynamic API layer that standardized the data from different vendors, ensuring accurate and consistent policy comparisons.
  • Efficient Filtering and Sorting: Providing users with a fast and efficient way to filter and sort policies based on multiple criteria was a key challenge. We implemented a powerful filtering system using Angular, enabling real-time sorting of policies based on user preferences without compromising performance.
  • User-Friendly Claim and Support Management: Ensuring that users could easily manage claims and access customer support involved designing a simple yet effective user interface. This was achieved by incorporating intuitive navigation elements and real-time updates using TypeScript to ensure that users always had access to their latest order and claim information.
